Great sound. Bargain
These are great sounding speakers for moderate volume music listening. In my opinion you’re better off w/o a subwoofer which only muddies up the sound and takes up space.

Good speaker upgrade with minor faults to consider
I purchased these JBL speakers to replace my iMac’s stock poor sounding speakers. The JBL’s do put out excellent sound quality for the most part.

Won a refurbished pair from eBay for peanuts: $10.50 ($8 shipping). Running them off a humble Mac Mini.

Great Sound!
I was looking for some speakers to hook up to my laptop for my dorm room. I’m pretty picky about sound, and the laptop speakers just don’t cut it for me (or almost anyone).
